Won't get to see the game

Fiancee wants to go see Get Smart… the movie and game have the same starting time. (Compromise I make because of the rarity of us having time off at the same time when things are actually open.) I’ll be tracking it on my phone, looks like… so here’s the new rally image I promised last game but couldn’t use.

by Inkara1 on Jun 20, 2008 5:54 PM CDT   0 recs

ahhahaa

The funny thing about my back is that its located on my cock.

by iorange555 on Jun 20, 2008 5:56 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

awww

By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Gameday tracker

has it out of the park at around 400 feet actually.

Wow

Young flashing some nice power there, nearly took it out of the park in CF. Just a bit farther and that is a 2 run shot instead of a deep fly out

By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Zimmerman

Is he injured or something?

by phina on Jun 20, 2008 6:42 PM CDT   0 recs

Yes

Where is JEFF Zimmerman, i don’t care about Ryan, I’m looking for a solid back end bullpen guy!

by phina on Jun 20, 2008 6:55 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

What a throw by Vazquez

By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

by Gdawg1 on Jun 20, 2008 6:49 PM CDT   0 recs

I would be participating ...

.. but once again Time Warner and/or FSN has screwed Rangers fans by showing the Astros even though the Rangers are clearly on the schedule for today. Jerks!

And I can’t find an online link, I know someone asked earlier but I can’t find anything.

by Melmart1 on Jun 20, 2008 6:53 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Wow

a SB on the unstealable Gerald Laird.

By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

What is the deal...

...with the way far away overhead camera angle?

by Adam J. Morris on Jun 20, 2008 6:52 PM CDT   0 recs

the murph

could really use a hit right here.

Rangers win 50-20

well, I couldn’t use 5-2 so I had to improvise…

dammit..!!

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:00 PM CDT   0 recs

Unbelievable

The guy dropped the ball, and Byrd ended up just standing there.

by Adam J. Morris on Jun 20, 2008 7:00 PM CDT   0 recs

he would have been safe....

can’t tell if that was on Walbeck or Byrd… little of both, probably.

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:01 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Millwood working the walk..

love it

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:04 PM CDT   0 recs

A pitcher may not always look good swinging the bat

but a lot of them seem to lay off the bad pitches….I guess they know what they look like

by SaltyDawg on Jun 20, 2008 7:05 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

he only swung at one pitch outside the strikezone

and that’s the one he fouled off. Color me impressed..

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:06 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

WALK!!!

great eye

by texasraider on Jun 20, 2008 7:04 PM CDT   0 recs

Hey Adam, since there's only like 15 of us in this thread

any chance you feel like doing a piece on Ramon Vasquez’s season compared to his past history?

Kins

just shy of the GS

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:07 PM CDT   0 recs

kins is a beast.

i wanted the slam though

Bring up Chris Davis

by DSheppard on Jun 20, 2008 7:07 PM CDT   0 recs

haha

This would be infuriating to a Nats fan.

by Mahon on Jun 20, 2008 7:09 PM CDT   0 recs

Kins had the big hit

but that inning was made possible by the Millwood walk.

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:10 PM CDT   0 recs

didnt occur to me

that millwood scored from 1st, nice

Bring up Chris Davis

by DSheppard on Jun 20, 2008 7:13 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

you didn’t notice because he ran like a ninja

by shroomer on Jun 20, 2008 7:14 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

but he wasn't running

he was floating

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:14 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

and the letter T

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:22 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

off the top of my head,

I can think of three Byrd base-running errors that cost runs or ended innings or both…

He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed.

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Jun 20, 2008 7:15 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

up 3-0 yay!

but ill take it

Just joining in

What cost us the other 3 runs? I saw Marlon Byrd’s latest basrunning gaffe on gameday, what else happened?

by lonestarJon on Jun 20, 2008 7:21 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

I would watch him even is he wasn't an ex-Ranger

He is just a fun guy to watch pitch right now….But I am perfectly happy with Hamilton

by SaltyDawg on Jun 20, 2008 7:18 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

no problem with the trade

what were the chances both danks and volquez would do what they are doing? the rangers would have been thrilled if one had an era below 4 this year, and their combined ERA is low 2’s…

oh well. come back healthy bmac

Bring up Chris Davis

by DSheppard on Jun 20, 2008 7:22 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

No one could have guessed that

even the biggest of DVD backers. But what they are doing is definitely fun to watch. Maybe the Rangers were bigger geniuses than they thought and they will hit on all three of the DVD boys once TD gets all the way back.

by SaltyDawg on Jun 20, 2008 7:25 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

From what I can tell...

The high camera angle is due to a “sunken field,” which alows more seating on the lowest level of the stadium. That pushed the high level seating (and booths) farther away from home plate than most stadiums. That, in turn, pushes the camera angle up.

I guess.

by cmkelly29 on Jun 20, 2008 7:17 PM CDT   0 recs

looks like a nice stadium

anyone been there yet?

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

Good gawd man

He has to get bumped up to OKC soon right?

by boomer1 on Jun 20, 2008 7:27 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Well...

The problem is that Teagarden is there (and one could argue Salty should be there). So there isn’t really that much room at the inn in OKC.

by Adam J. Morris on Jun 20, 2008 7:31 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

True

But something has to be done soon I would think with TT, Salty, Max and OMFT.
