OT: Salty....
........ I was just looking at some stuff on Lairds past production, and it really brought to lite the bad offensive year he had last year when he was learning how to “catch” the Ron Washington way (which may be a better way IDK) so it got me thinking maybe Ol’ Wash is putting the bite down on Salty and riding his ass like he did Laird’s last year, which would make sense why his offense has been bad this year but makes me question what exactly Wash is doing or having them do. In his defense this makes Salty look a lot worse than it did Laird because Salty’s main tool is his bat so if he isn’t hitting well then he looks Terrrr-i-ble. just thought I would share an observation, feel free to dog me now.

Seriously. . . what a failure. You’re a professional announcer. There aren’t many players on the team you’re covering for three days. How much time does it take to make sure you can pronounce every name?
And I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a name with “oit” that wasn’t pronounced “wah.” It’s not an unusual name, ya dope.
Yeh.....it happens though across the board.
You hear announcers around the country pronouncing names different (and wrong) all the time.
