Nice to see the Rangers' representatives are hitters, since the real meat of the farm system is the young pitching. I had hoped Feliz would be on there, but I think these rosters are pretty stacked.

These rosters
are really weird. They have very little to do with who are actually the best prospects, even compared with previous years. BA alluded to that as well, at least in regard to the US roster (with Team USA, etc).
But seriously, a lot of these guys are very fringy prospects, while many of the top guys aren’t included. I guess we could point to Feliz being Low A, but there is just no way that you would construct a list of nine or ten international pitching prospects and not include him at this point.

A lot of AAA filler arms
and a lot of struggling AA arms. Yeah, it’s an odd roster. I never thought I’d see Denard Span on a futures game roster.
