crazy
I still can’t believe Davis, MaxRam, and Hurley are all up. It would have been cool to have the #1 system in baseball this offseason had they not been promoted, but whatever. I’m excited. Onward and upward!

If Josh can hit a homerun today, SCALES TIPPED BACK IN OUR FAVOR.
Before you ask, yes this is the only thing that matters this season. Also trading Bradley.
Mavs should move up.

So....
I’m wondering for the Mavs.. I think their may be an ideal trading partner in Portland at 13. Maybe go and get Bayless or Augustin if they’re still there. Any thoughts on what it would take?

And we get him, I’m going to jump through the ceiling.

That would be a complete steal, but the guy in the DMN had him going at 13 to Portland, but I’m not really sure Portland really wants to make a pick. Maybe trade some veteran and cash to move up.

Well...
If that doesn’t work out, they could always move somewhere into the middle of the first round and take one of the Kansas guards, Chalmers or Rush.

Is this game really happening?
Hammy takes 2 at his head then hurts his knee again on a field that should be illegal for millionaires to play on and our supposed ace sucks ass again and the astros have a man name Wanda making us look stupid.
WandY is left handed.
That means we can’t hit off of him. It’s not allowed. Remember?

Newsflash to Rangers pitchers in general.
Throw fucking strikes instead of balls. You stop walking people that way. It also helps to get people out and thus win you a game. Try it, please. For the love of God, PLEASE.
My three favorite numbers: 10, 32, 36. =)
Well that was it for me.
I’m out.

This shit drives me crazy
that all the rangers pitchers get ahead 0-1 or-2 and end up allowing the count get to 3-2.
And for what it's worth...
Millwood has the worst luck of any pitcher on the road that I’ve ever seen.
My three favorite numbers: 10, 32, 36. =)
Yeah this is just great
juuuuuuuuuuust great

We're the Rangers...
We either set new lows or new highs. Though many, MANY more of the former.

I could use a few more of "the highs"
otherwise I’m going to have to set my own personal “high”

Maybe
he should go back to those kickboxing classes maybe hes better in that.
I can take one bad game every now and then like the next guy, because those happen.
But the bad luck part is what drives me up a frickin’ wall. And bad calls, those really piss me off too.

No that would be Padilla

He was going to overslide home like he does on the bases so he threw to the wrong side and not sure why Salty threw to the wrong side

This is crazy
At this point, Bradley needs to come out of the game. No sense risking having him out there if we’re down by 7 runs.
Might as well.
But the beasticon at DH/clean-up.

I know it was said mainly as a joke
but Mendoza would be the one getting Millwood’s open spot in the rotation, not Harrison.

even before that double...
millwood looked really good at the plate in his last start..
Bring up Chris Davis
holy hell
Millwood got a double. The Rangers offense has nothing, but Millwood gets a double.

I have to remind myself of this everyday
but he’s got the best stats of any AL SS. I mean that’s like saying one pile of shit stinks less than another, but he’s got that going for him. Which is nice.

back in the day

It's ironic
Our pitcher (who has about 5 ABs a year, if that) gets a double. And the rest of our lineup can’t do anything.
Millwood needs to sit down
and talk to Hurley on how to throw strikes. He could learn something from the rookie.
"Would you mind walking a time or two so I could drive in some runs"? Milton Bradley
+1
Hurley also just needs to teach him how not to suck.

Well just pray
that our next ace will be Sheets or C. C. thorugh free agency. Even both wouldnt bother me
I vote for Sheets.
But I’m biased I guess. Both would be fine with me.

Could you imagine the starting rotation with Millwood traded
1. Sheets 2, Sabathia 3. Padilla 4. Hurley 5.???
Haha
If they let him throw 300 pitches, he’ll get 20 K’s… lol.

i would say bring in rupe now
but millwood has already completely destroyed the game.. not much point in trying to save it.
Bring up Chris Davis
Not brett
but I think he’d be perfect for the Mavs. Swingman that’s not eddie jones.
by Dirk Diggler on Jun 26, 2008 8:02 PM CDT up reply actions
yep
That’s the guy I’ve thought would be a great match for the Mavs.
by Adam J. Morris on Jun 26, 2008 8:06 PM CDT up reply actions
I'm pretty much
Meh on him as a big-time contributor, but as a guy who fits a need and brings some disgustingly good explosiveness and size, I like him.
My biggest problem is that he’s not a very good shooter, and his mid-range game, something I think we need a lot of help with, is pretty suspect.
Still, if the Mavs got him, I’d be thrilled, particularly if all it costs is Cuban’s money.
by brettgardner on Jun 26, 2008 8:05 PM CDT up reply actions
Don't know specifically
but teams late in the 20’s do it all the time. Don’t want to pay a guy the guaranteed money over 3 years when they have a good roster already.

KKKKKKevin Millwood. I like him better when he isn’t striking people out and not giving up 7 ER.

51st I think
is the first pick they have unless they buy their way up a little
