Doug Glanville is on NPR talking about bench clearing brawls. Why? I dunno. But we like fights and beanballs around these parts so there you go.
JD drinks the Angels milkshake.
Oh NPR....
...is there anything you won’t cover…
I guess it was the beatings made me wise. But I'm not about to give thanks, or apologize.

You might think of doing this once, lol. It would be all sorts of fun.
Screw Zimmerman
I want Erik Thompson.
I was looking for some action, but all I found were cigarettes and alcohol.
Shelton...
my wife said during the game the other night that he has a lot of junk in his trunk.

Here's to Josh doing an excellent Jim Everett impersonation...

Ben-
Where you at with the red finger investigation?
That was the first...
I’d heard of it.
"I know you're a bit dense but no, it doesn't. Obviously lying isn't a problem for me."
mayo's updated mock
i don’t have a huge problem with this (because they’ll turn him back into a starter), but, i don’t think this is JD’s pick, and if that is the case, JD should just quit now. :(
I tend to agree
with most all of that, that they would probably move him back to starting, that it’s possible that it’s not a horrible pick (if you have any confidence in those who are scouting him) given the upside, and that it’s probably not Daniels’ primary choice. When we hear that Nolan isn’t all that involved in the draft, that means very little. Everyone, including the owner, involve themselves with picks this high. They’ll just tune out after that (except for over slot considerations).

I'm terrified at the reports
That Cashner has iffy command, the “makings” of a plus slider, and no true third pitch. And he’s a relatively advanced college pitcher.
Converting that into a starting pitcher does not inspire me with confidence.
Something else
Kevin Goldstein says that he picked up 5-7 mph in moving to the pen. That’s a lot. If you do move him back to the rotation, are you picking a guy with a 90 mph FB and all of the shortcomings you mentioned? Triple bleh.
