I was thinking and came up with some interesting thoughts for your Texas Rangers in 2009, God-willing.  Of course, it's all assuming and for arguments sake but let's give it a shot.

If the Rangers make the right deals and dump the right players and bring up/sign the right players I see the following line-up in 2009 in no particular order...

C-Salty

1B- Davis

2B- Kinsler

SS- Young

3B- Duran

CF- Hamilton

LF- Murphy/Boggs

RF- Bradley ( I would keep him or resign him in the off season)

DH- MaxRam

Rotation...

Sabathia

Padilla

Hurley

McCarthy

Harrison

Closer....

Wilson

I think with a team like that we could compete for a Division title and perhaps even go deep in the playoffs.  We could always make a trade in the middle of the season to shore up our team if we feel weak in one area or another.  I'm also still on the fire Wash and hire Ozzie band wagon which I believe I'm the lone Ranger on it, lol.
