My trip to picture day
I know the OC has done one of these I hope y'all enjoy it! Also there is a special picture in here for lonestar, Dshep, and all you other haters!
via i304.photobucket.com It started with me in front of the 404 sign in the outfield
That is me with Art Howe and Mr. Washington I think that UFO OC was talking about is blocking out the sun in the Art Howe pic.
Me and the big Aruban after we took our shots!
Me and Mr. Ace himself he was really a nice guy.
Here is Big Red and myself he is definately more interested in the strippers next to me than he is in taking a picture!
via i304.photobucket.com
Me and Bradley he was really happy to talk to his fans.
This is me and Ramon he is tiny, and told me he was thinking of bringing back the Stache!
Me and the Great Hambino I gave him some hitting tips and he's been hitting HR's every since.
This is my sainted wife with the Electrician I dont know what she did to him but he hasnt gotten an out since. I trust there will be no unessecary comments on my wife!
we stayed after to listen to Josh and Katie speak and give there testimony, God has really done some tremendous things in there life and I believe they will be here for a long long time.
David Murphy and his wife showed up to watch Josh and Katie its good to see some Commorodrie on the team.
And Finally here it is for all the haters out there my best friend in the world SALTY he said he really admires my opinion and is glad to know me. He said to tell all the Hater's out there to lay off me he knows I am a fan of his.
So there it is after spending 10 hours at the ballpark 10am to 8pm getting sunburned and bullpen burned it still turned out to be a good day. Hopefully our bullpen will straighten up and our starter will get everything back home taken care of.

Nice pics
David Murphy’s wife is pretty.
Jealous that you got to hear the Josh/Katie testimony.
And really just jealous of picture day. Why did they just start that this year????!

that's got to be another one of those really cool
moments for Hamilton, to have Murphy and his wife there for that.

Dude
Don’t call Shep and I the haters re: Salty. Just stop shooting off dumb, half-assed comments about his abilities, and we’ll all get along just fine.
Nice pics, though… you and Sidney Ponson almost look like brothers.

Dumb, half-assed comments...
ugh.
Pot, kettle. Kettle, pot. Can I get you two a drink?

Yes, as a matter of fact
You can take the next slow boat to Japan and grab me a bottle of saki. Hopefully I’ll be 21 by the time you get back.

Ben, lets be serious for a moment (if you're capable of that)
But what is your deal? I know you’re AJM’s brother and all, but most of your contributions to this site border on trolling.
So, two serious questions:
1. What seems to have made you so insecure and bitter that you must go around trying make people miserable, and 2. since you seem to know a thing or two about stats, why can’t you bring yourself to make a positive contribution once in awhile?
by lonestarJon on Jun 4, 2008 11:22 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
I'm not insecure.
I’m awesome!
I don’t make people miserable, I piss rainbows and shit sunshine.
I make positive contributions all the time.

I don't think...
you’re very familar with Ben’s sense of humor.
He’s been around far longer than you have. Probably shouldn’t say he borders on trolling.

Yeah, I know Ben is supposed to be some humorous entiety unto his own
But he’s never really struck me as funny, he’s just struck me as a giant d-bag who gets off on saying whatever pleases his fancy on his brothers blog. If that isn’t the definition of a troll, I don’t know what is.
Now Ben will probably come and flame me for this comment, act all inherently superior and call me names, but I really don’t care, I just wanted to get that off my chest, and go back to my policy of not interacting with him.

well
it was all pretty much the same, a 4 year old did ask him if he was going to sign with Texas and he responded with “sign with Texas? I am here baby, and I am here to stay, whooaa!” so that was pretty exciting.

I thought this was pretty cool
I got an email forward from my dad with this link:
http://nl.newsbank.com/nl-search/we/Archives?p_action=doc&p_docid=1210F57CBB758EC0&p_docnum=7
He got it from the pastor at our church, Randy Phillips, and Randy asked him to come down and speak after learning about Josh’s story and hearing he was playing one of their songs. I hope that happens. I want some non-baseball folks I know to get the privilege to hear the story as well.

not to be inappropriate
but your wife is very beautiful. congrats on that. does she get upset when you spend much time on here? my fiance is returning from nyc this week, so my time on here is about to drop precipitiously.

luckily
most of my waiver wire scouring and lineup setting happens during the work day, so the only time it really affects her is on sunday.

not sure what happened there
luckily most of my waiver wire scouring and lineup setting happens during my work week, so she really only has to endure sunday afternoons.

curious...
...what did you say to Milton?
from me: ”’preciate what you’re doing for us, sir… hope we can extend you…”
reaction: slight smile…then keeps walking…
conclusion: Milton has read The 48 Laws Of Power
i officially believe.
by oc on Jun 4, 2008 11:40 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
i didnt really say
anything to to him, me getting my picture with him was really just to show a couple of budies of mine that i dont hate the guy, they think since i am still for trading him at the deadline that i am a hater, but really i think he has a lot to do with Hammy’s success, I have always liked Milton, and wanted to trade for him when cleveland was offering him up. But at this point in his career he has only played over 101 games once in his career and I just really believe in selling high, I think he has hit the ball SOO well this year that we could actually get something really nice for him, everybody on here has thrown their opinion out on the deal but i think, Tampa Bay would be a great team to deal with if they keep playing close to the way they are for the rest of the year.

he's a pretty tall guy...
...i surveyed a block of 20 or so fans… and nobody seemed to recognize him, as i didn’t at first… (couldn’t make him out with his sunglasses on)
towards the end of Jamey’s round… some little kid… maybe 6 or 7 years old… asked him, “who are you?”...
and Jamey responded kinda playfully… in front of the kid’s parents… “i’m a pitcher!”...
man, that just wasn’t his day. or tuesday for that matter. hope he turns it around quick.
i officially believe.
