Botts headed to Japan

Hadn't seen much on this since zywica put the Japanese link on the front page.

Kinda disappointing how this worked out.  Who knows, maybe he'll come back in a year or two and produce the way we always hoped he would.  In any case, I guess this clears up a spot in AAA.  Who's headed upwards?  With Botts gone, does Chris Davis go on a hot streak?

Most likely

he’ll go on to being the greatest export to Japan since Pedro Valdes.

We get a less crowded AAA team

and don’t have to listen to people constantly whining that we should give him another shot.

A win-win for all.

We get Kobayashi

No, not the pitcher. The professional wiener eating man. He’s coming over to promote dollar hot dog nights.

Good for him

The bigs obviously weren’t going to be an option for him, so I’m glad he’s getting an opportunity to go play in the second best league in the world and make some money playing playing baseball while he still can.

If he hits anywhere close to the way he did in AAA, he’ll get some serious dollars over there.

The 40 trumps all!!!
