Gino Petralli Rocks
Everybody knows that Gino Petralli's son, James Petralli, fronts the next-big-thing (& actually is shit-hot great) rock band, White Denim, right?
& that James played baseball, too, & his brother still does, & that the bass player's grandfather played for the Washington Senators, (just like Gino Petralli's dad did)?
White Denim are effing great, so keep an eye out for them, they have got to be Ranger fans, right?
It is not totally out of the realm of possibility that Mark Holtz couldve mentioned James' birth during a Ranger game I heard all those years ago back in Dallas.
Meanwhile, I got pysched about the Rangers win last night, too, but this 2 weeks before the break are going to be SO tough for the ballclub. We are not buyers, by a long shot. I wish we could get something for Padilla but I don't see it happening, & the whole Blalock situation is such a mess. I would much rather put Hank back at third, forget about trading him, (I dont think we can now anyway), keep Vazquez as a utility guy, & let CD struggle up here & plant some roots at first.
They are a lotta fun to watch, though, & there is finally light at the end of the tunnel.

White Denim
My former band, ‘Acid-washed Denim’ opened for them and ‘The Denim Jackets’ on the “Stereotypical 80’s Wardrobe” tour last summer.
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

Huh.
I know an A&R guy in New York who’s approached them about signing.
Seriously. The buzz-band status is true.
