2 games over 500 please.
I know right
I just told my husband “that sounds like a recipe for suck, right there”

OT- I think the Edinson correction begins now...
I’ve been watching this game and he’s starting to get more wild.
5.1 7H 3BB 3K 3ER(may end up 4) 96 pitcher only 54 strikes.
Against Pitt too.
peeps with extra innings
check out the indians/white sox game. I don’t want to start anything, but just watching Danks pitch….he looks kinda nasty. Kinda fun to watch pitch.
Dino Radja >>> Soft Nowitzki
I love the days when
Edinson and Danks pitch.
gotta think that after Chamberlain....

"Would you mind walking a time or two so I could drive in some runs"? Milton Bradley
He needs to be batting 5th
Having Murphy and Byrd in front of him is killing his RBI chances.

Byrd better do something here or die
"Would you mind walking a time or two so I could drive in some runs"? Milton Bradley
He doesn't do anything with no pressure either.
"Would you mind walking a time or two so I could drive in some runs"? Milton Bradley
he goes on mini runs sometimes
but that doesn’t seem to happen as often as it needs to
Rare Gnats Sex
Boggs needs to be in there instead of Byrd

A memo from LSB:
Dear Marlon,
We would appreciate it if you would use your playing time more graciously. You may start be getting a hit. It would be very much appreciated.

Fail again.
Way to suck Byrd. If he starts tomorrow, I would be shocked.

I won't be
Ron Washington would probably start him if he busted his leg and had to sit out there in a wheelchair.

Watch Out GDAWG just
got through telling me yesterday that Byrd is Hot and SHOULD be playing every day
by blueballlefty on Jul 1, 2008 7:57 PM CDT up reply actions
I said
Byrd was showing that he is on more of a hot streak than a cold streak and shouldn’t be benched completely because he does still have trade value. But w/e, you know me better than I do.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.
-The Outlaw
nope
dont know you just know what you said and you said it made sense for him to start 14 games in a row and sited some OPS that you came up with for like the odd number of AB’s on cloudy days or something of like .900
by blueballlefty on Jul 1, 2008 8:01 PM CDT up reply actions
You said he was on a massive cold streak
I said he actually had a hit in 4 straight games with a couple of those hits being for extra bases and a couple of walks in one of those games. With the addition of his great defense and how he is probably being showcased for a trade, it makes sense to play him.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.
-The Outlaw
byrd sucks....
but big steve likes him…
Byrd
.277/ .354/ .420 since coming off the DL. Hes been really good and plays a really good CF.

I agree, I’d much rather see him than Byrd.

Yep.
He deserves one more stint before we ship him out. (Make that an if also).
My three favorite numbers: 10, 32, 36. =)
who is going to play center?
murphy? OF defense takes a hit. Have they tried Boggs in center yet in the majors? If that works out, then byrd is superfluous.
Rare Gnats Sex
Boggs hasn't played a game yet there
and his LF defense is making me worried about sticking him CF. Murphy can do a good job at center though.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.
-The Outlaw
Murphy used to draw a lot of praise for his CF defense in Boston
He’s started 9 games out there this year, and has looked pretty darn good to me. I don’t think having Murphy playing CF would be too much of a hit to the OF defense, if any.

Especially for CD, despite the crap calls.
