FIFTY......50
Ok I dont want to get a head of my self, but if we win two out of the next four games before the All Star Break we will have 50 wins at the break. I dont even know how to look up when the last time was we had 50 at the break but I am pumped. I have been trying to talk my wife into seeing Hancock ever since it came out, and TONIGHT she came in and said lets go see it! It was right after the Rivera HR so I said EFF it lets go! So anyways I had to watch the Josh HBOMB on replay and read y'alls quotes along with it AWESOME! Anyways back to *50* we will have 66 games after the break, I want to hear what we expect out of this team post break! I personally would love to see 40 wins I know thats quite a bit but I think its a good goal. Discuss amogst yourselves

Hancock
It could have been great. I left the theater somewhat satisfied, but ultimately underwhelmed.
yup
first half of movie was good, second half was out of place.

i was pretty interested by the trailers
but the negative impressions are making me pass
maybe ill catch it after the dark knight though, which i have to see.
the preceding post is not nearly as negative or insulting as you think it is
Dark Knight
It definitely has potential to be an epic movie, that people will be talking about for a long time.

then cant rally decide between Wanted, the Hulk, and Indiana Jones.
Hopefully Batman kicks the shit out of all the others
Indiana Jones
was the biggest piece of crap I’ve seen since I ate a massive steak a few months ago and took a major shit.

Wanted
was worth the price of admission if only for the greatest 3 seconds to ever be showcased on a moviescreen. You know what I’m talking about…. Wow.

Nope.

You can see that in just about any movie
but was it really any GOOD? If you say it was just “entertaining” then OK I might rent it. But, if you really claim it is “good” I’ll be skeptical and probably won’t see it.

Wanted
It was a really excellent action flick. A little over the top, a little cheesy, lots of one liners. But that’s what action movies are! The intensity was there from the beginning and I never once got bored or looked at my phone.
Not to mention Angelina was worth the price of admission herself.

Easy choice: none of the above.

Same thing for me
First time I’ve been to a movie in a month. I left after Salty tied the game up. Sucks that I missed the fireworks.
Hancock, very weird. First half – kinda funny and interesting. Second half – really weird and misplaced.

I thought he switch is what made the movie interesting...
Did anyone else catch the Ulysses reference during the film?
It went in a round about way to explain why now we really don’t have those transcending heroes of old…
I left at the end of the 8th...
Figured K-Rod had it sealed up. Ouch :(

tell me about it...
half way through the game, I let my girlfriend convince me to watch Atonement. Which was not ALL that horrible of an idea, I mean it starts out horribly slow, but then the “C Word” is introduced and everything changed.
taped the game, can’t wait to go watch the final 4 innings. wow.

REFUSE TO WATCH IT.
I was in Hollywood last Monday and happened upon the premiere. Was right in front of the red carpet with my family, waited for 3 hours. (wife’s idea not mine). Only to be run off 15 minutes before the limos pulled up. at that point there was no where else to stand, so we jumped in the car and continued my trip to San Diego. I did get to take in a Padres Marlins game. Really cool to see Ramirez up close and got to see Maddux pitch. My wife was upset about missing Will Smith, my girls missed the Cheetah Girls, and I missed T.O. on the red carpet. Oh well.
