Trading for a SP

So, who on the list would you want the Rangers to go for? Some rental? Someone locked up for a bit?

Me...I would go for someone locked up (as probably most people here). I like Greinke, Oswalt, Reyes, Burnett (if you can buy out his opt-out), Bailey, and Arroyo (from that list).

I wouldn't trade a huge haul for any of these excetp Greinke....

I would try and get

burnett. I have a feeling he could be had cheaper than you think. Plus if he opts out, you collect the draft picks.

to negotiate an extension that would forgo his buyout clause, I’d say make an offer.

ya why not make an offer.

no matter who we have offensivley they always hit so why not get burnett. just offer a couple of hitting prospects
