What if...

David Murphy's line drive in the ninth in game 1 is a little bit farther away from kotchman and what if michael youungs' line drive was hit a little more towards the right?

We could be looking at a 6 game win streak and be 3.5 games behind the angels.

or if we didnt go 0 for 7 with risp in innings 9-11 in game 4

just saying that 2 plays could have changed the season

the 1st loss i cant really complain about

we still would have needed yet another hit if murphy’s got through.

this game it was a miracle to come back, but after we did we had chance after chance to win and couldnt do it.

if we had won, 5.5 back on a roll isnt half bad. 7.5 back, stunned from a bad loss and facing the sox.. ouch.

in the longrun i know it doesnt really matter, but things would have been a bit more fun for a while at least.

oh well, there were still positives today now that theres some time after the game. im very glad that chris davis managed to get his average back up a bit and smashed a couple doubles, and young has emerged from his slump.

the preceding post is not nearly as negative or insulting as you think it is

ya i forgot murphy's hit wouldnt have tied it

but i really like how they never give up and they always seem to come back when they are down by a lot.

in the long run it could matter, it wouldnt be the first time a really young team like the rangers came back and won the division but then again there is no chance with their pitching

stunned from a bad loss?

I don’t think that was a bad loss or that we are stunned. We fought hard to come back and had our chances but to expect to win a game after falling behind by 6 runs is pretty unrealistic.

one year we actually had pitching?

by SteveP on Jul 11, 2008 2:29 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

then we would win the pennant

and our minor league system has some good pitchers on the way

What if ... I hadn't blown out my arm back in Little League ...

I coulda’ been a playa !!!

Or not !!

Yea, though we play in the valley of the shadow of defeat, we shall fear no team ... 'cause Nolan says so !!
