Feldman the other night
Washington didn’t really have much choice. His bullpen was close to wiped out. He tried to squeeze as much out of Feldman as he could because his options were limited, and to avoid having to end up making a move to bring up someone like Joselo Diaz.

he ended up getting all of an extra 2 outs from him for all the runs he gave up in that inning.
obviously he was betting on him getting out of the inning without doing so, but it wasnt a very good bet with the control he had.

that is just such a failure of an outing
team trying to end the first “half” on a streak, they scratch out a couple runs against a tough pitcher.. and millwood is LUCKY to give up 4 (probably 5 or 6). he was terrible.

maybe jumping up into the throwing stance is causing pain.
sure hes been bad throwing this year, but not of the up and way outside into CF variety. just of the slow and wrong side of the bag variety.

once again we put in our two worst relievers because we were down and
if we didnt let in any runs in the 8th and 9th we would have won
same thing in houston that one game, i dont see why we dont use a good reliever. we have one more game then we get 4 days off??
