PLEASE HELP!

I am going to Yankee Stadium for the final Boston series! I have never been to New York so I dont know where to by tickets, where is the best place to sit? Left Field/third base upper deck, right field/1st base upper deck, or the bleachers? I also heard if I buy tickets in the bleachers that they wont let me walk around the rest of the stadium, is this true? Thank every one for all the help in advance! I tried this at pinstripe alley but got no real response's!

Right field bleachers

for the experience or third base side.

Junior:It's that simple. Mike Scioscia brings a Glade Plug-In labeled "Winning™" into the clubhouse and everyone who breathes it in gains 15 points in average.

I did the top level thing

when I was there last weekend. Pretty cool, you’re surprisingly close to home plate and ushers don’t seem to care where you sit after the 3rd inning.

Hear hear

I did the same thing a couple of years back. From the pics that I took, everyone assumed that I was right behind home plate. The seats were cheap-ish and the fans were great.

Not sure

I was 3B line one night and 3rd level right field the second. I snuck down since the Yanks got their ass kicked. Doubt that will happen with Boston though.

Yes

That is true. The bleachers are completly seperate from the staduim. We made that mistake last year.

Wow, cool

Congrats blueball, that should be a great experience. As the BZA said, the RF bleachers the place to be (at least according to the few Yankee fans I’ve talked to).

I sat three rows back between 3rd and and the foul pole

Of course, those were tix to the Rays (at the very beginning of the season) so they weren’t super expensive. They’d probably be astronomical for a Red Sox game.

Nothing pithy here. Please move long.

Oh, and

bought the tix through stubhub. I’ve always had good luck with them. In fact, once I went to a game in KC and they fed-exed my tix to my hotel because it was short notice.

Also, www.tadfw.com (even thought I don’t live in Texas) is good too. The folks there will help you decide on which tickets would be the best. I had a guy from ebay back out 4 days before I was going to Boston to see them get their 2004 WS rings, and tadfw came through in a pinch (tickets were impossible to get; probably why the SOB backed out even though I bought the tix in December).

Nothing pithy here. Please move long.

Go early and tour Monument Park

Hands down the #1 attraction for a hardcore baseball fan (outside of the actual game). Makes you appreciate the history of the park & that franchise. None of us like the arrogance of Yankee fans, but after walking through Monument Park, you can almost understand it. No other franchise can hold a candle to it.
