Watchmen Trailer
Not sure how many fans we have of The Watchmen, but the trailer just came out and I was very impressed. I imagine this will be playing tonight at Batman but figured I'd post it. It's the best trailer I've seen in a while.

Pineapple Express
trailer looks funny (in a stupid way). Good song in the trailer towards the end, btw.
Yeah
After Batman I’d say my most anticipated films are now:
1. Watchmen
2. Pineapple Express
3. Burn After Reading
Plaschke: Scioscia, the former Dodgers catcher, is the model manager who has created an atmosphere of winning.
Junior:It's that simple. Mike Scioscia brings a Glade Plug-In labeled "Winning™" into the clubhouse and everyone who breathes it in gains 15 points in average.
Burn After Reading...
really looking forward to see what the Coen brothers have got next.
The other two look good as well. I think Pineapple Express will be funny, but it’s one of those movies that I think could go either way as well.

Yeah, cool trailer
The guy I went to see TDK with is a huge graphic novel guy; he went nuts when he saw it.
And incidentally, if you don’t see Dark Knight at the very first remotely possible opportunity, you are certfiably retarded. That movie is absolutely transcendent in every sense of the word.
P.S. Don’t take the kids. It’s creepier than any horror flick.

The Watchmen
It’s pretty much the greatest graphic novel in the history of ever, written by Alan Moore (who also wrote the graphic novels From Hell and V for Vendetta) and illustrated by Dave Gibbons.
A movie version has been attempted several times, with Terry Gilliam (Monty Python, Brazil), Darren Aronofsky (Pi, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain) and Paul Greengrass (United 93 and the last two Bourne movies) all attached to the project at one point or another. Zach Snyder (300) wound up landing the project last year, and from what I’ve seen so far, he’s making a film that should live up to the expectations of the comic.
I’d already made up my mind to see the Dark Knight this weekend, but knowing there’s a Watchmen trailer beforehand makes it even better.

ahh ok
only thing i knew about the watchman was when alan moore and other comic writers were on an episode of the simpsons.
speaking of v is for vendetta, i finally tried to watch that on hbo the other day and got busy in the middle of it and couldnt finish it.
may just buy the damn hd-dvd its like 9 bucks now

V for Vendetta
It’s a fairly decent movie adaptation- I thought Hugo Weaving was great as V- but the comic is definitely better.
I just saw the Watchmen trailer, and it looks pretty sweet. I’m a massive fanboy when it comes to late 80s/early 90s comics- Dark Knight Returns, Watchmen, Preacher, The Invisibles, just to name a few- and seeing some GOOD versions of comic book movies come to film (instead of the crap being made about 10-15 years ago) is, for me, absolute heaven. I read the Watchmen in one sitting back in college, and have re-read it probably a dozen times since. It’s an incredibly well-crafted book, with a ton of character depth, and a lot of unexpected surprises.

March????
I hate it when I go to a movie and see a cool preview and the damn thing doesn’t come out for 9 months.
Let me have a diablo sandwich, a Dr. Pepper, and make it fast I'm in a God damned hurry!
