Well
Teagarden is probably going back to Oklahoma tomorrow. I imagine they wanted to see him again before he’s shipped out.

Or...
they like to match him up with a veteran like Padilla because of his receiving skills.

umm
Boggs in the 2 hole while Davis is in the 8 spot? That’s a strange lineup

There is a link to a stream on this forum
but I am not running Windows so I can’t check it to see if it works
Here is the link to the forum with the links to today’s games though

Sunday afternoon game....
Coming off two not so good games out of the break. I’ve even resorted to letting my daughter have the main TV to watch a DVD while I watch the game on gamecast.

I've been having problems loading all SBNation sites
from my work computer. 2 weeks ago, perfect. This last week, they’re all jacked up. It doesn’t make any sense. I’ve tried both IE and Firefox 3. No dice.

it's good to have hank back...
what a difference he makes to this team
by sam in so cal on Jul 20, 2008 1:37 PM CDT 0 recs
was that?
he’s 1 for 7 in his much-heralded return, necessitated to build his trade value.
last year he was 2 for 4 with HR in his return – .405 for the month.
in addition to him providing nothing, the team is 0-2 outscored by 18. if you are asking if my comment was sarcastic, maybe i should have made it more obvious.
or were you being sarcastic?

Creative sign day
I remember going to a game in 2004 with a friend of mine. His idea for a sign was “I like my catcher’s Rod and pitchers Young” on a Chris Young-Rod Barajas day.

Wouldn't say "robbed"
It was a foul ball. Even if it hadn’t have been caught, what are the chances Byrd does anything anyway?

it was a foul ball
that went out of the stadium and he had to jump off the wall to grab it.
There is about a 33% chance Byrd doesn’t get an out.

So does the server problem
keep the comments from showing up too? I can’t see new comments as they are posted, I have to refresh the whole page to see new stuff. Just curious if it is just on my end or if it has something to do with what is messing up the pictures too?

and a pitcher who doesn’t mind running.

Do we have another Tex/AGon situation at 1B?
If Smoak develops as quickly as everyone assumes. Davis seems to be very capable at 1b.

I don't see any reason to move Davis off first now
I think the Rangers will approach that problem when it arises. Right now, Davis is destroying the ball and playing great defense at first while Smoak hasn’t even signed.

I agree.
Moving Davis off first now would be asinine, I was talking about a future logjam. Smoak profiles as a GG caliber 1B, and Davis isn’t bad at all. Plus, I don’t see a reasonable scenario where we don’t get Smoak signed.

that should help out momentum ...
the only thing worse than getting swept at the start of the 2nd half would be getting no-hit, too.

imagine
getting shutout, no- hit, and swept to start the second half.

us not having a base runner today, it being a Sunday, Dark Knight is out, and the crappiness of the team the last 2 games.
