was that?
he’s 1 for 7 in his much-heralded return, necessitated to build his trade value.
last year he was 2 for 4 with HR in his return – .405 for the month.
in addition to him providing nothing, the team is 0-2 outscored by 18. if you are asking if my comment was sarcastic, maybe i should have made it more obvious.
or were you being sarcastic?

I remember going to a game in 2004 with a friend of mine. His idea for a sign was “I like my catcher’s Rod and pitchers Young” on a Chris Young-Rod Barajas day.

I don't see any reason to move Davis off first now
I think the Rangers will approach that problem when it arises. Right now, Davis is destroying the ball and playing great defense at first while Smoak hasn’t even signed.

I agree.
Moving Davis off first now would be asinine, I was talking about a future logjam. Smoak profiles as a GG caliber 1B, and Davis isn’t bad at all. Plus, I don’t see a reasonable scenario where we don’t get Smoak signed.

They haven't been able to buy a break this series.
Overall, they’re hitting like crap, but it seems like every time somebody actually makes good contact, it’s been right at somebody or just foul, or with just not quite enough power behind it. Very frustrating.
