But that’s why I thought it was funny. Everyone thinks Heath was awesome as the Joker and based off the minute and a half of previews I’ve seen for it months ago, I think he’s going to be awesome.

Padilla has actually be very good this year.
Teams do know that Padilla tried to pitch in pain and got rocked for 2 starts to jump his ERA over a half a point.
Teams also know that Padilla has concentration problems. But he would be a hell of a #3 on a playoff team

we don’t keep all three of them….(Salty, Teagarden and MaxRam). It’s not an issue this year, but definitely something to wait and see on in the future.

Just reviewed Gabbard's statistical profile this season
Beyond the expected crappiness, I just discovered that Gabbard possesses the highest BB/9 ratio (6.27) of any pitcher with 50 or more innings pitched this season.
I’m having a really hard time seeing him in a meaningful role with this team next season.

Even when completely healthy, however, I don’t think he possesses the control/command needed to get by with such little velocity; heck, even if he threw 93 MPH, he’d still be coughing up far too many walks.
Love the movement on the curve, but one quality pitch can’t compensate for a mess of other problems.
What about Mendoza?
Is there any qualitative difference between he and other weak-armed 1-pitch guys like Loe and Drese? Seems like we’ve been down this road before.
