I command millwood to inspire some confidence in himself

because over the past 3 weeks ive lost all of it.

show up milly. it’d help if you would throw 93-94 again instead of 90-91.

I think I’d rather watch Mendoza pitch right now, I’m really weary of Millwood.

my prediction....

Rangers can’t hit the lefty rookie…

He goes 6 2/3 giving up 1 run (homerun) and 4 hits

Millwood is his usual self

5 runs in 6 innings.

we lose 6 to 1

We will have scored 2 runs or less for 5 out of 6 games since the break

The Eagle has landed....

by Lonerangers on Jul 23, 2008 1:21 PM CDT up reply actions

From my horrible awesome Day One recap:

Murphy possesses a strong, projectable frame that invoked a Ryan Klesko body comparison from Baseball America, as well as exceptional power from the left side of the plate. The 2007 Aflac All-American has lost some of his luster since last August’s Aflac Classic showcase, battling through an injured quad muscle and several significant kinks in his classic "power to all fields" swing. He profiles as an average defensive first baseman.

Though Murphy may outwardly appear to be something of a reach at pick #153, there would nonetheless appear to be considerable promise here if Texas can straighten out his offensive shortcomings. but im just a commercial photographer who works with artificial lighting most every day, what do i know.

it sounds crazy, but the sun with really bright (like white) objects is kinda hard to adjust you eyes to, especially when its moving fast at least in camera in bright very high contrast situations

like i said, im no hitter though, but as a photographer i can see how it could be a problem to some people b/c its a problem with some cameras, and some films.

Well they pretty much name him the starter in the off season...

-He gets sent to AAA to start instead
-Laird has outperformed him in every phase and took most of the starts
-MaxRam put up ungodly minor league numbers and became a hot name
-Teagarden can do no wrong in anyone’s eyes and is an olympian who just won a game
-And he his hurt

I really think he has some mental issues right now and just can’t get over them….he needs to go to AAA or get about a week off….he just needs some time to relax a little. Sadly, this may be a lost season for him.
