Iam here in Chcago

And the local sports station is throwing out a trade of Duchscherer for Poreda and Fields.

Does not sound like enough from the Soxs side for me.

What do ya'll think?

It looks like have have to write several more words to make this a legitimate post so here it goes I am trying to get to the 75 word limit but it is getting very tiresome typying all these words that mean nothing.

good deal for white sox

Fields may turn out to be good, but if Oakland is going to trade Duchscherer, they need to get something more…

Beane is selling hardcore

Odd, that’s never really been his style. It seems like he’s making trades in some cases for the sake of making trades, not because the return is particularly worthwhile.
Then again, if he’s worried about Duscherer’s unsustainable numbers… (look at the peripherals) It’s understandable.

I don't think Duscherer is this good

Beane might think that as well and is selling high.

Duscherer

is one of the luckier pitchers this year, according to some measures, but he’s still doing very well even if you go by that.

Time you enjoy wasting was not wasted.

I agree

Prospect for now, prospect for later on Oakland’s end; all-star pitcher for NOW for Chicago. Makes me wonder if Padilla would fetch that much.

Beane is doing what he says atleast, i think...
“You’re either rebuilding for something special, or you’re on the verge of something special. To be in between is foolish.”
—Billy Beane

But, he’ll have to change something to win a playoff series someday…

Josh Hamilton is better than you.
