I thought Gallagher was lefty for a long time too, before i saw him pitch earlier this year.
I always got confused between him and Sean Marshall
when all the Cubs trade talk was flying this summer. Marshall is the lefty though.

If Siavii can be the backup NT to Tank, then Ratliff slides back to his more natural DE to start with Canty. Hatcher is the pass rusher. And Spears becomes a solid trade chip.
I am more for keeping Spears b.c. he has loads of talent, but if he becomes a backup, he is pretty expensive.

No position player not named Evan Longoria does at this point.
But Ellsbury deserved it about as much as the rest of their list.

And the defense, the value of playing center, the OBP, the OPS and such stuff as the last time I checked rookie VORP he was right about in the same range as most rookie position players this year.
BP is down and I haven’t looked in a few days, so I’m admittedly somewhat going by memory. According to ESPN, though, he’s third among position players in runs created. With the defense and the base running, I’d put him in the same range as most rookie non-pitchers who aren’t Longoria.

Man, I’m happy with him, I think we have a nifty corner, maybe even starting, outfielder for the future, but he ain’t in the rookie of the year argument anymore. Or at least he shouldn’t be, and if he is I’ll be more amazed by the baseball press than usual.

Laird is more expensive than the other three, and he’s a free agent in 2 years. His trade value will likely never be higher than right now, so… he is the only one it really makes sense to trade right now.
