Time to move on to the next vote.
The polls are open, so go ahead and vote in the poll at the bottom and feel free to make any suggestions and/or criticisms in the comments below.
And please don't hesitate to tell me you want on the list for next time.
NOTE: There has been some speculation as to what the criteria are for this vote. Should guys who are currently in the bigs be involved in "prospect" discussions? For the sake of this exercise we're taking what the guys have done in the big leagues and using the BA prospect formula of 130 AB's or 50 ip. If a guy is under those limits, he's still a prospect right now, so he goes on the list. It's that simple.

Yeah
until JMJ’s family starts getting on here and voting to make it close.

You said you'd vote for Perez if he has another couple of good starts!
Just give in to the temptation. Save yourself the need to change your mind later.

Ok, what the hell
Osuna over Perez, Vallejo, Lemon, Duran, Boscan, Mayberry, ?
Time you enjoy wasting was not wasted.
i know right?
what the hell? i’d have osuna way lower than all of those guys. somethings fishy here

BTW i love Osuna
but some1 is rigging the vote.

someone must be vote stuffing
Is there some way to verify who’s voting or find out who’s doing what?
Not sure what's worse
a) rigging an online vote
b) getting upset about it

Upset?
I seriously doubt anyone is actually tearing out hair over it.
Time you enjoy wasting was not wasted.
Does tearing up
count as upset?

Gomez?
Why isn’t everyone high on Kennil? The guys turned 20 in April, has a WHIP at 1.08, an OP AVG. of .232 and an ERA < 3.00. He’s on the DL currently, anyone know if it’s serious?
voted for Perez
but may for for Gomez, then Vallejo/Lemon or Lemon/Vallejo.
Someone needs to convince we which way to go on the two 2nd basemen.
Yeah...something's not right here...

look at the votes for mitch moreland too.
he’s an good guy to keep an eye on for next year. I’d even say he’s probably top thirty but wtf is he doing with 20 votes. Not to mention Osuna’s 42. This is just stupid and ruining what generally leads to a nice discussion every time about a couple of players.
now arias has a ton of votes too
well 13, which i have a hard time accepting.
the whole thing smells kinda bad if you ask me.

I believe that is the plan.
Not sure if they’ll skip him again before the season is over…

Now, I'm not sure if he'll start again this season.
Now it looks like they’ll bullpen him, working on a regular schedule for the remainder of the season after some time off.
I have no idea yet when they plan to have him pitch again. I’m also not entirely sure what will happen in the rotation; my guess is that Hodges will take Feliz’s spot when he’s off the DL.

Um, why is Osuna winning?
This is weird. So many votes so fast is crazy, plus a ton of them are for a guy who got 2 freaking votes last time.
Can anyone raise their hand and say they voted for him?
Is there any way to see who is doing the voting?
It’s shitty to think someone is being hilarious and ruining the vote, but is there another explanation?

Don’t start accusing me…I don’t have all day to sit and vote.

wasn't accusing
just pointing out.
if you legitimately think he’s worth this spot thats fine.

All you can do is click on someone's name to reveal
who they voted for. Like aggieranger below you, voted for Osuna.

Equally puzzling
Why has JMJ’s vote count gone considerably down from last time even though he almost won the previous vote.

11-20
How many teams top 10’s aren’t as good as the Rangers 11-20? Amazing that guys like JMJ, Lemon, Perez, Vallejo, Diamond, Jones, etc aren’t on the list yet.
TD again for me
I can’t vote for a 17yo (oh wait, that’s legal in TX, right?) who may never make AA. And pitching wins any argument, to me.

how big a following..
is there on this blog in bakersfield? wonder if teammates are picking him or something.
probably just two idiots though. although i would put osuna around 27-30.
Duran
I know Osuna is a monster and all but does Duran have some kind of invisibility field around him? He’s good people
And now
hes good and done for the year. His numbers this year don’t exactly inspire a high ranking.
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
duran
thats probably the reason he’s being forgotten about is because his numbers this year weren’t great. but in all fairness he didn’t get much playing time this year either.
i still like duran, but the system has gotten so many great players in the past year.
"I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it." - Mitch Hedberg
JMJ once again for me
but this whole poll needs to be re-done or something. Maybe if that doesn’t work, start just counting people votes based on who they post so everyone becomes responsible for who they voted for instead of having one jackass ruin everything.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.
-The Outlaw
We can't end this poll...
with Osuna over Perez can we?
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."-Socrates
dirk
i voted Duran, but if Osuna being picked here is a big problem and people griping, then he shouldn’t have been on the list then. i would have him top 30 which would put him ahead of alot of others eligible players. i know its the way and how quickly it happened, but if he definitely shouldn’t be considered at 18, take him off.
But that's the thing
It’s not that he’s being considered, it’s the way that it happened. So many votes for him so fast (we were well over 200 votes within 6 hours, which never, ever happens) and for a guy who had received almost no support in the previous poll, plus the fact that almost no one has been advocating for him in the comments is just really, really fishy.

I call shenanigans!
Plaschke: Scioscia, the former Dodgers catcher, is the model manager who has created an atmosphere of winning.
Junior:It's that simple. Mike Scioscia brings a Glade Plug-In labeled "Winning™" into the clubhouse and everyone who breathes it in gains 15 points in average.
run-off
Why don’t we just do a run-off with Osuna and Perez? It may be a better option than just re-doing the whole thing, since Perez has 12 more votes than the 3rd place guy (Mayberry).
