I don’t know how many innings he’s pitched but I doubt it would be considered overworked. He doesn’t seem to have control of any of his pitches atm.
He's pitched 44 innings so far this season
Which is one inning more than he pitched in all of 2006.
And about 20 innings shy of what he pitched all of last year.

But K-Rod is far more of a veteran than CJ, who is still technically still in his first year of closing. If we’re going to talk about not stretching Feldman’s arm as a starter in his first year, doesn’t the same apply to CJ as a closer?

43ish seems to be about the average. I don’t understand how you can consider that to be overworked when it’s league average and the fact that he use to be a SP. All I’m saying is that you can’t blame his poor performance solely on the number of innings pitched.

“Tex is an ass and ranks up there with Ass-Rod”, where did that come from? Anyway, I watched what Ramon said and thought his comments were actually very funny. I was thinking, yeah, he just shoved it down their throats and stuck it up their butts. I loved it. Ramon is a solid guy and his teammates love him. So, he had three errors. A bad night on defense, he’s usually very good. He had 4 hits for crying out loud and had a clutch hit to win the game. Give the guy credit where credit is due. I love games like this where it’s down to the last out. Otherwise, verrrryyyy boring. Go Rangers!

Give the guy a break he had his job taken away from him after doing a bang up job. He’s then asked to go back out there only because the fragile wonder had another breakdown.
I think he’s still pissed about that, I can’t blame the guy for being pissed, he’s done an amazing job of filling in. He wants to start – and will somewhere. I wish it were here but based on what he said yesterday it won’t be unfortunately. Hank was not up to the job again.
