is advocated closing up shop on the season. It’s just that at this point when we’ve got 8.5 games to make up in the standings and have a mental block against moving away from .500, playoffs don’t seem like a likely scenario unless we pack up and move to the NL West.

But I also don’t think there’s any point in worrying about what the Angels are doing right now. We aren’t in a playoff race. We are in rebuilding mode, and well out of the hunt right now.
