well he was slumping before laird went down
but hes been slumping for the entire salty era thus far so im sure the numbers do back it up.
at least hes thrown out runers since laird went down, but obviously this level of offense from an offensive catcher is unacceptable. hes certainly not seizing his oppurtunity.
that said I still like him long term and think he will snap out of it.

His defense has improved greatly since he got to play every day
But the bat… just not there. And it seems to be getting worse, as he continues to strike out more. I don’t know what needs to be done to fix him, but if he doesn’t get his shit together soon, he’s going to be sent back down.
