this ranks right up there with the Kevin Elster mission impossible slide at home...

...not sure it beats September 26, 1996… when they hung that “F” on the out-of-town scoreboard…

Oakland 7, Seattle 5.

there was a roar in the crowd that kept building… and building…

but, this win?... right up there…

by oc on Jul 10, 2008 1:00 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Man...what a moment that was.

I was behind home plate with my dad. He was listening to his radio, and as soon as they updated the Seattle score on the radio, he just stood up and started clapping, along with a few hundred other random people with radios.

Gosh….what a moment.

Last night was awesome, but it doesn’t even come remotely close to that moment.

by jthig32 on Jul 10, 2008 7:52 AM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Man haha

Someone at work was talking about going to the game.

Me: “You don’t want to go tonight!”

Wonder if he took my advice?

Plaschke: Scioscia, the former Dodgers catcher, is the model manager who has created an atmosphere of winning.
Junior:It's that simple. Mike Scioscia brings a Glade Plug-In labeled "Winning™" into the clubhouse and everyone who breathes it in gains 15 points in average.

my family is from the clearwater area

but I’ve been up at FSU for school for the last 4 years… I really wish I was more into the Rangers back when they were in Florida for ST. I’ve been a fan most of my life, but wasn’t as obsessed back then! I really wish they’d come back, because I’
