The offense won the game. I wouldn’t say that CJ Wilson sucks, but I’d say his future at closer could and should be in doubt at the moment.

I think its reached the point

where its just time to pull CJ from the role.
its just gone on too long now.

hopefully he can restablish himself coming in to face mostly lefties, and compete for the role in spring training with frankie and such.

well, if they do pull him from it.

but… very fun win in the end. nice to see young players salty, boggs and murph rally in the ninth.

but really

Hunter looked decent, but just threw a few too many flat fastballs up in the zone and a few got crushed. It wasnt as ugly as the line.

The offense came back from the 6-0 hole hunter put them in with mostly singles in a big inning.

Then CJ blew it in the 9th giving up 2 runs.

Offense rallies again. Boggs misses a walk off 3 run HR by a few feet, they walk byrd.. and its murph lefty v lefty and the bases loaded. he slaps one just under rolens glove, we win.

but nice to hear Murphy hit the ball to the opposite field.

I sure get tired of him rolling over on the ball and grounding out to second.

he was 2-2 against lefties in Game-changing situations tonight, and it just seems like he often hits them in game-changing situations. Don’t get me wrong, I’m stats to the core, but I’d bet that Murphy is better in clutch situations than others.

obviously hes been quite poor v lefties.

but at least its not one of those .400 ops lines where he has no prayer of making contact lefty-lefty like vazquez has done in the past or something.

of course, i was very upset that bradley couldnt even pinch hit and it had to be murph…

Well, LSBers it was a fun game

TH gets rocked, but hangs in there.
Byrd kills a rally.
I talk about sleeping with Larry King and sexually harassing Chris Davis.
Boggs with the assist and timely hit.
4th OFer drives in the winning run.

Good times.

About a year ago, they dropped from 100 percent coverage to 25 percent.
