I actually heard before hand via the Newberg Report…..and now that I think about it, that son of a bitch didn’t give a link either. My personal opinion is that if something is heard, rumor or not, lets talk about it. Cut the guy some slack. Thanks for the info.

Kinda bummer:

JD was obviously upset about things…he said that he told Connor that if changed some things, he would love to have him back in the org…said that Mark was a great man, and a great teacher.

I dunno…don’t want to start a baseless rumor…but JD did sound upset.

I've heard him be really critical of the Rangers

specifically I remember him one time calling out any Ranger fan for going to games when Tom Hicks refuses to spend money on our payroll. So I honestly have no idea what you’re talking about.

I'll say this for JW

He will at least stick around and debate you on what he said that usually gets everyone riled up. Seven/LBrooks used to back in the day. Ruger never did which is why I never cared for him. I at least respect JW for sticking around to debate, I still hold respect for Seven because I know how he used to be as a poster even if he is now more intent on riling up the masses.

Why it is that people care about whether sports reporters and especially announcers are “shills”. It seems as if you just want to hear your own opinion parroted back to you. Are you that insecure in what you feel that you need somebody on the team’s payroll to validate it for you?

Brad Sham is one of my favorites.

During the games, he will actually place blame on the Cowboys player, sometimes when it isn’t even their fault.

And I’m pretty sure I’m not alone on this. Peter King listed him at the top of his list of favorites in a mailbag last year. Doesn’t mean you have to like him, I’m just pointing out that he’s well-respected.

anyway.. my position has been that he may not be hurting anything, but he doesnt appear to be helping anything and coaches like him are replaceable so you might as well give someone else a shot.

Yeah

I don’t think it will change much, but since they’re having so many rookies coming up it can’t hurt to have Hawkins up here. The pitching staff faced a lot of adversity this year. Injuries, youth. I will not blame Connor for that.
