Chris Davis was named AL rookie of the month for July. That shouldn't come as a surprise for Rangers fans.

Davis hit .303 and led all major league rookies with eight homers. He was tied for first among all rookies with 16 RBIs. Davis also had eight doubles, a triple and 23 runs scored. He had a .646 slugging percentage for the month and a .337 on-base percentage.

Has been on fire lately. What the hell has gotten into him?

Nice to see Davis get some recognition as well. The kid has been everything we expected from him this year and more. I’m very excited about him at 1B for a long time. Of course if Smoak turns out to be as good as we all hope he will be then he Rangers will have a nice problem on their hands in a couple years.

I've never seen a pitcher with "bone spur" issues throw 96 mph. The only spurs I'm aware of are the spurs that Wash has buried in C J's ass as he rides him. I love ya C J but welcome to Wash's DOGHOUSE.
