Well, we didn't have some old fart giving up a bunch of runs the the top of the 9th this time
So there is hope.
We need to hire Chuck Norris to kick the ass of any Ranger fan caught booing one of our young pitchers at the RBiA.

No
I’t’s not “old fart” Jon. It’s using inbred backwoods country crossroads hillbilly quasi-pitchers who show up for a few relief outings then walk three in their first relief inning thereafter. Aug 31 be damned, I’d clean out this 40 roster by noon tomorrow. Get rotally rid of all “should be but didn’t " and "should be but can’t” and all misjudgments about being viable major league players. And I might do it by throwing darts at a poster board for the 40.
I angrily posted over on NMLR after Rupe’s total surrender to incompetence tonight that I need to watch the Hitler team assessment a few times, so I can settle down enough to sleep. This is actually the first Ranger game in a long time, if ever, that physically made me sick. I can handle losses. Blowouts, 3-2, 2-1 whatever. But not gagging up 7-1 leads. Nope. Not at all.

So where do you get those graphs?
The ones that show the probability of a team winning? Someone posted one in the last thread but comments were closed.

So, we’d rather have Arias up as the tying run than Cat?

He had 2 hits
So Ron probably thought he was “swinging the bat well tonight”.

You know, im starting to get to the point i want all the rangers games to progress like this game
Young starter does well, offense produces, old bull pen comes in and helps gurantee a better draft slot

Black = Starters
Red = Indians

You know
For awhile there, it seemed like Wash was getting better at his job, but he’s slipped back into his old ways the last couple nights. Taking Bradley out of last night’s game early and pulling McCarthy prematurely tonight really screwed us. It’s really too bad… even I, one of his biggest critics was starting to think maybe he’d turned some kind of a corner, but… nope.

Uh yeah, it just might have
He was wild, but effectively wild tonight. I really don’t think he would have given up 6 runs int he bottom of the 5th.

WTF??
The guy is making his first start of the year after being hurt. He had to warm up several different times before the game because of the weather. The team is winning by 6 runs in a meaningless game in late August.
And you are bitching because the manager pulled him too early after throwing 75 pitches in only 4 innings?
You are a fucking moron.
