AL mvp
so far at least...with about 32 games left
i'm thinking this would be the top 20 (not considering pitchers). because the voters give RBI and how good a team is more weight, i did so too.
carlos quentin
kevin youkilis
alex rodriguez
justin morneau
josh hamilton
jermaine dye
aubrey huff
milton bradley
miguel cabrera
ian kinsler
grady sizemore
vladimir guerrero
joe mauer
dustin pedroia
nick markakis
carlos pena
bobby abreu
raul ibanez
melvin mora
brian roberts
josh has cooled down big time. getting intentionally walked with the bases loaded means the respect is still there. maybe he can heat up. ian to the DL will cost him. milton just doesn't have the AB's. quentin and youkillis play for great teams, josh/ian/bradley don't.

Right now
I think it goes
1. Quentin
2. Hamilton
3. ARod
Interesting dark horse: Sizemore.
True value aside, Youklis and Morneau are boring players. Add the resentment over Youklis for moneyball and Morneau’s small market world, then I think neither of them gets strong consideration (yes, I know Morneau won a few years ago, but that probably hurts more than helps – he’s not the type of player you think should be in the “Multiple MVP Winners” category…)
Its a real shame Kinsler got injured when he did, because he would have been up there.
Really can't see voting for anyone but ARod here.
He’s the best player in the AL.
I’d go ARod, Sizemore and then it’s a crapshoot. Off the top of my head I’d say Quentin just cause his team is winning and he’s been slugging a ton for ’em.
The 40 Trumps All!!!
I would probably go A-Rod, Sizemore or Lee.
I’d have to do more homework than I feel like to decide on which one. I lean towards A-Rod.
Quentin has separated himself from the field...
1) Quentin
2) Morneau
3, 4, 5) Hamilton/A-Rod/Sizemore in whatever order
Quentin is my first choice
but Sizemore is virtually right under him. I think theres no way Sizemore wins it on a 90 loss team, even though I dont think their injury problems and bullpen suckage somehow make him less valuable….but it seems like you have to really blow the writers away to win it on a terrible team.
