just guessing
i bet if u take out Feldman’s last 1 inning in every start, he’d have like a 3 something ERA…
"Popularity is fleeting. Principles are forever."
well since you asked
All the innings prior to his last inning of an outing:
99 IP/ 3.91 ERA
His last inning, or portion of an inning:
15.2 IP/ 12.06 ERA
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
Wow...
quite the difference. Wash just needs to figure out better when to pull him.
Stars in a Texas Night Sky, a Dallas Stars blog from a fan's perspective.
Well
Only 3 of his outtings did he not go into the 6th inning.
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.
Yup...
I know he’s been pretty consistent getting to the 6th inning. Wash seems to love to send him out to start 7th innings though to get pounded usually.

It redeemed him from snubbing me before the game.

No, completely unrelated.

I would
They wouldn’t, of course.

You guys calling Cruz “Nellie” is reminding me uncomfortably of the other Nellie and the Cuban incident.

Have a Hamburger with your Borbon
And finish it off with a Smoak while you Laughter and you’ll probably end up Hurleying
:D

How bout this
Start with a good dinner. Maybe a Hamburger and iced Teagarden with Lemon. Then go Cruzing to the club and have a Smoak with your Borbon. Laughter will ensue and at the end of the night you may end up Hurleying.

I'm pretty amazed at how many shoutouts I got on here
Ha ha.
And I did yell out his name a few times. Before the game, he simply waved but refused to sign. Jerk.
But during the game, I doubt he could hear me.

no big deal of course, but almost a really nice play.

I loved Rojas’ comment after they showed the Tracker on the first wild pitch:

Screw you Ric Renner...
quit calling the Guardado trade BIG…
He’s a 37, soon to be 38 year old reliever who may be calling it quits after this year, traded for a closer in rookie ball.
This is no means a BIG MONUMENTAL trade.
Stars in a Texas Night Sky, a Dallas Stars blog from a fan's perspective.
Welp, that was a pretty good win
Cruz and Arias where beastly, and Young and Bradley had good nights at the dish as well. Feldman even managed to avoid his 7th inning crash via double play. Yeah… boy, we needed a night like this.
We need to hire Chuck Norris to kick the ass of any Ranger fan caught booing one of our young pitchers at the RBiA.
Impressed
That was quite an impressive first outing for Cruz! If anyone heard the ticket today, im sure Rhyner will be all about Cruz tomorrow!! “He probably will come back down to earth and wont be hitting .600 for the rest of the year”.
If tonight is any indication of what he can do in the bigs in the future, i sure dont want to see him go. Not jumping the gun but sure hope tonight is what the kid can and will do!!
We sure needed that win!!
That's messed up...
let the kid pitch. It’s not his vault he’s better than other kids. Parents, sponsers, blah blah blah.
The fact that an entire team would forfeit just because that kid was going to pitch shows bad sportsmanship and no class by that team, their coach, and their parents. Bad form.
