Former Trail Blazer Kevin Duckworth died yesterday. He was 44.
It is weird when guys I remember watching play in college start dying.

It makes you sick when you see this sort of a cluster of professional athletes dying so young, in their 40s and 50s. Frank Cornish, Duckworth, etc.
FWIW, my aunt and uncle live in Portland and in Duckworth’s neighborhood. They thought he was a great guy.
Offense doesn't doubt me, but my first and primemost thing is defense and punt return and kickoff return

My favorite NBA team
From when I actually enjoyed the NBA. Drexler, Terry Porter, Duckworth, Buck Williams, Jerome Kersey and 6th man Cliff Robinson. Great team but could never get over the hump.
Nothing pithy here. Please move long.
the hump?
is the hump the chicago bulls? They peaked, they just weren’t as good as jordan, grant, etc.

Well you might want to start following them now
because they’re going to get back to that level pretty soon wit hteh players they keep getting, especially that Spain point guard Fernandez…

Way, way too young.
I’m interested to hear a cause of death. In any case, thoughts and prayers to Duckworth’s family.

railroad me here:
"I’m sure you’ve seen Kiker before but I’ll just reiterate that the kid is mean on the mound. He is only 5’10’’ but he is an intimidator. He looks like he hates hitters. He has the juice for pressure situations."

He's such a big guy
I think the default guess has to be something heart related.

doesn’t really make any sense
