Jovanny Cedeno
Does anyone have a baseball card set of the 2000 Savannah Sand Gnats? I'd like to borrow the Jovanny Cedeno card, and will get it back to you within a week -- along with a free Bound Edition, any year of your choice. It needs to be unaltered, though (i.e., unautographed).
(Actually, any high-res photo of Jovanny in a Sand Gnats uniform will do. Doesn't need to be a baseball card.)
Thanks.
Jamey

here's a link if it helps
"I’m sure you’ve seen Kiker before but I’ll just reiterate that the kid is mean on the mound. He is only 5’10’’ but he is an intimidator. He looks like he hates hitters. He has the juice for pressure situations."

I'd do that...
…if I knew it would be a Sand Gnats card.

Don't want to pull the curtain all the way back...
…but it has to do with the concept I have for this winter’s book cover.

What a blast from the past. Kid had good stuff as I recall.

He was...
basically Jesus with a baseball before his arm fell off.
I’d imagine he is going to be juxtaposed with Mr. Feliz.

I've heard...
conflicting reports that he gave up on the game because his heart wasn’t in it and is in Alabama spending his days fishing OR his arm never really recovered and had it, he’d be dealing as our Roy Oswalt right now.
I think however it is perhaps a third answer; Jon Hart had him whacked and gave him the cement shoe treatment rather than admit a short pitcher could play in the majors. Sometimes, at night, if you listen closely, you can hear the faint sounds of a Rangers fan crafting an email question to Evan Grant in regards to the whereabouts of E.T.
