Frisco RoughRiders game 08/29

Is anyone else going to be at the game tonight? I have a few good tickets in section 121 (I think) and I'm really excited about getting to see Feliz pitch, Elvis manning short and Borbon patrolling the outfield. I've never been to Frisco before, so... Is there anything else to do out there? What else should I be looking for at tonight's game? Blah blah blah, need eight more words... this should do it.

Going to the RR game!

I will be there tonight- can’t wait to see Feliz pitch! I know a guy that has a suite so it should be nice… Hope the weather holds up though…

DVR

Offense doesn't doubt me, but my first and primemost thing is defense and punt return and kickoff return

Ticket buying suggestions?

Taking my two boys to see Feliz tonight. Any suggestions for which seats to get out there?

by 3hacks on Aug 29, 2008 3:52 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I chose the 16 dollar tickets on the First Base side

Got row 4 seats 1,2 and 3. You could probably find something close. They seem like some really good seats.

all the seats in Frisco are good.

Get there early and watch Feliz in the pen.

heh...

…reminds me of that scene in Boogie Nights where all those guys are huddled around the couple boinking each other…

poor kid.

Will definitely be there, rain or shine.

Section 104, row 13 or 19, haven’t seen the tickets since this morning.

Definitely park at the mall on the other side of “3rd Base” (restaurant.) You could do the mall thing before the game, Stonebriar is okay in a noisy, high priced kind of way. Depending on the age of your guests, Strikz at Lebanon and Preston is a pretty neat little Main Event knock off.

Current weather...

cats and dogs here at Plano Parkway and the Tollway… how long would this have to keep up for the game to get called?

Ugh, that would suck...

I don’t want to drive from Fort Worth to Frisco and then find out that the game was cancelled…

Same here

Some lightning and will probably rain, but nothing yet really. I’m 1-2 miles away.

It's still clear here,

and doesn’t look like it’s going to rain.

Alright y'all

on the way out there, look for the dude in Section 104 with a grey shirt and white Florida State hat on.

Didn't see ya dude

That was on the other side of the ballpark. Did you get a foul ball? One was belted like… 2 feet from me. The woman in front of me almost got her finger broken. If it didn’t hit her finger, I either would have caught it or my mom would have had a broken face.

1st Inning

Dude hit a foul line drive that my friend almost got but some uncoordinated kid threw his glove up and deflected it.

May just be me, but Andrus looked very disinterested/bored in the field, but none of our pitchers helped with the flow of the game, i.e., strike throwing ability.

disinterest

both teams looked very disinterested thursday night too. probably because its the last few games of the regular season and frisco has a spot clinched, and i believe the hooks are pretty much done.
