GO RANGERS!!!!
I've never seen a pitcher with "bone spur" issues throw 96 mph. The only spurs I'm aware of are the spurs that Wash has buried in C J's ass as he rides him. I love ya C J but welcome to Wash's DOGHOUSE.

I need a Ranger win tonight.
Spent a month on vacation and watched the win on Monday already happy. Went back to work on Tuesday and understood the crap I had to deal with and watched the Rangers win on Tuesday. Went to work again today and realized that work really sucks. Negotiating with vendors, dealing with customers and handling employee issues has put me in a foul mood. The only cure is a bunch of alcohol which will give me a hangover or preferably a solid Ranger win tonight.

I’m not sure I can watch the ESPN coverage. I am too used to ten seconds of Rangers coverage.

Release
The Rockies on Wednesday finalized the acquisition of right-handed pitcher Livan Hernandez on a waiver claim from Minnesota, the Rocky Mountain News has learned.
Instead of getting involved in a drawn-out negotiation over a possible player trade that would have involved the Rockies assuming a lesser financial responsibility, the Twins decided to settle for the Rockies picking up the remainder of Hernandez’s contract - roughly $1.5 million - plus a prorated portion of any incentives Hernandez reaches.
Hernandez was acquired to add a stretch-drive veteran who has a history of pitching innings to a rotation that figures, on occasion, to actually turn into a six-man situation. That would ensure that left-hander Jeff Francis, who comes off the disabled list to start Wednesday night against Washington, and Aaron Cook, who leads the majors in innings pitcher, get enough rest to stay strong.
It also would mean that left-hander Jorge De La Rosa would be the swing man, starting when the Rockies run into a series of consecutive days on which games are played and being available as an additional lefty out of the bullpen at other times.
Hernandez last pitched for the Twins a week ago Wednesday, so it is not out of the question he could make his debut on Sunday in the series finale against San Diego, depending on how quickly he joins the team.
Hernandez, 10-8 with a 5.48 ERA with the Twins, has been particularly effective in his career against the National League West, having gone 33-27 with a 3.87 ERA in 80 career starts against the Rockies’ four division rivals—Arizona, the Dodgers, San Diego and San Francisco.

I went to Cafe Bistro last weekend. It was great. Of course it’s so small we had to wait in line for about 40 minutes to get a table…but they strategically placed the bar adjacent to the line so we kept getting beers while we waited. Beer was really inexpensive and wasn’t bad at all. Great time, thanks for the rec.

and the burgers and fries are cheap too.. next time don’t go on a weekend LOL..the wait will be a lot less… you must of been feeling REAL GOOD by the time you got your table. You’ve never been to Magnolia Bakery? It’s a west village classic..there will be a line there too but it’s sooo worth it. They are famous for their cupcakes but have tons of great things including one of my favorites, banana pudding with vanilla wafers…mmmmm
