that when you fuck over one set of pitchers with a worse strike zone and then screw over that team’s hitters in saying that the strike zone mysteriously expands half a foot in each direction against the best closer in baseball, it all of a sudden isn’t just end of story. I’m so sick and tired of this crap. These calls aren’t even close. Its one thing for the tracker to show that it just barely touched the zone or something, but its clear as day that it isn’t anywhere close to the strike zone. The ump calls the same exact pitches balls right before and after. Sometimes, the balls are actually closer to being strikes than the “strikes” are.

but it does make it even more difficult for the offense when they have to swing at crap way outside because it’s being called a strike.

I am sick and freaking tired of watching these umpires continuously call obvious balls strikes. No wonder that Rivera is unhittable if u don’t have to throw strikes to get people out it tends to make a difference. This happens to almost every batter multiple times every at bat and it is bullshit.
