PrintOk, up for the Riders is Neftali "Gasoline" Feliz. Since the Rangers' pitching was horrendous today, let's hope Neftali can follow up Dutch (even though it was a loss) with a strong performance. Going for NW Arky, is Mosebach.
For the Redhawks, it's Derek Lee vs. Chris Gassel for the Rivercats. Hawks need this one after losing 8-4 last night. That game doesn't start till 9:"05 so should be over about the time the Riders are finishing up the win also.That 75 words yet?

too crowded. cruz needs to play every single game the rest of the year, no question. hammy is going to play.
id rather let boggs play the rest of the year than JMJ if cruz gets pushed.
at least as far as real playing time. letting him get a game or two and hang around for a bit.. sure.

I'd sit Murphy...
the rest of the year. I don’t see a whole lot of reason to play him for a week at the end of the season.
Hamiton could use a day or 2 off each week the next 3 weeks and Byrd could use 3 or 4 games off a week the rest of the season. I would rather see JMJ get a few AB’s right now over Byrd and Murphy.

Favorable pitching matchups
With Oklahoma up 10-2 in the 6th, it appears that both the Redhawks and RoughRiders will return home tied 1-1 in their best-of-five series. In addition to having three home games to win the two necessary to take championships, it appears that both teams will benefit from favorable pitching matchups in Games 3 and 4.
RoughRiders vs Travelers
Game 3
Schlact (sub 3.00 ERA in August) vs Denham (>8.00 ERA in August)
Game 4
Hyatt (sub 3.00 ERA in August) vs Austen (~5 ERA in August)
Redhawks vs River Cats
Game 3
Hunter (2.00 ERA in August) vs Mazzaro (6.00 ERA in August)

Ballard (~5.00 ERA in August) vs Knox (>6.00 ERA in August)

I haven’t found any other season that three Ranger minor league teams won championships.
