I was happy to know that
Fabregas is so important for them. They looked just terrible without him. Also, Walcott’s emergence rocks. Hopefully they’ll be able to pick up that holding CM they lack in the winter window and won’t have lost too much ground or be in trouble in the CL by then.

I know Arse are a classy team and all, but man my Rovers just looked terrible on transition. I’m not getting a good feeling of the Ince Era. We don’t correct this slide we’re on, we’re going to finish closer to relegation than a UEFA Cup spot

but it sounded like Rovers missed some huge chances early that could have made it a different game. UEFA Cup spots could get pretty tough to get if Man City turns into Chelski 2.

After the Game last night i switched right over to ESPN BB Tonight was on, no mention of the Rangers vs As game, then i watched sports center, finally gave up waiting, did they even mention the game, let alone show anything?

Ramirez might be splitting time at C and DH. I’m becoming less and less enthusiastic about the idea of resigning Bradley. He has been so injury prone and fragile that I would be hesitant to commit to a long-term contract. Maybe two years, but no longer.
In the case that Bradley goes elsewhere, I think the tandem of Teagarden/Ramirez makes a lot of sense.

I would prefer to not see all three young catchers (Teagarden, Ramirez, and Saltalamacchia) at the major league level, unless Saltalamacchia is playing everyday at first and Ramirez everyday at DH. I would rather see them playing at AAA on an everyday basis than I would see them sitting on the bench in the majors next season. Just person preference, but I feel all three need to be getting as many at bats as possible at this stage of their development.

i picked him up this morning for the championship push.
its a head-to-head points league, like football. if he gets a win or even pitches a quality start with a reasonable WHIP he helps me out. i’d say probably 20% of feldman’s starts this year wouldve resulted in negative scoring in this format, so i felt it was worthwhile risk as long as he didnt have a boston repeat.
