Sad that Brandon Puffer is the major suspect in this.

By no means is it an excuse for such instances to occur, but at a game a couple of weeks ago, it seemed that the bullpen location was an open invitation for "groupies" to openly "flirt" or "mingle" with these ballplayers. Not that it was an inevitability, but you wonder just how often propositions are made that are followed up on. It'd be interesting to hear BGL's take on the happenings in the Frisco bullpen as I'm sure he's taken in a few games there. Too bad we still have the embargo.

i sat by the visitors bullpen when the rangers played seattle and the end of august. before the game , jarrod washburn was eyeing every girl in the stands during bp. the instant the game ended some of the other players came down to the dugout pointed and stared at different girls then sent their bullpen catcher with a pen and paper to give out numbers or hotel room numbers to the girls they selected. all the girls down there were dressed like sluts and most of them looked to be 15 to 16 tops. my whole row was in awe of this as countless people couldn’t believe how young the girls were. i know washburn has a reputation for this but it was out in the open for everyone to see.
