Tuesday morning
I got nothing this morning. I swear, I could not tell whether Ron Washington was trying to throw that game last night in the late innings.

Mendoza
Is it just me or are there times when it looks like Mendoza is laughing when he is pulled from the game?

To see them just give up like this is disheartening.
They were really fun to watch for most of the season, but since the playoff rug was pulled out from under them, with a few exceptions, they’ve just been going through the motions.
This last week can’t end quickly enough.

Slowly gaining more tools. More plate discipline.

Been very busy
the last two weeks and unable to slavishly follow baseball. It seems I’ve saved myself a lot of frustration that way.
In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love.

Things looked funky to me as well
last night, i know Hamilton has homered only once this month and has not had an rbi in weeks, but his at bats last night looked like he did not care one bit about those easy runs or winning the game, several others seemed that way as well or maybe they are all just flat worn out and mentally drained from this rotten season where we will end up in the 3rd place in the west and 8 or 9 games under 500

Beaten Down
They look like a defeated team right now. They’re playing like a defeated team, too. I think the cumulative weight of all the drama, the missed opportunities and the injuries has probably caught up to the guys.

How many games have
the Rangers won this year when they have scored 4 or fewer runs? I would guess a very low number. I think this has worn down the psyche of the teams offense to the point that they are in somewhat of a stupor and look very listless at times.

on the bright side
Blalock is mashing and playing pretty well at first, on the dark side, Cruz has returned to i-don’t-understand-breaking-ball land.

Three Rangers farmhands in the top......25?
This guy thinks so (and he excludes Feliz):

Good discussion, anyway.

I think the guy is a little too affected by buzz, but not the worst list ever.

"Rangers allow A's to pass them in standings"
…. that’s the headline on texasrangers.com. How appropriate… ALLOW
being the key word.

Rangers Lose Another Prospect...
…Well, sort of. When we were doing the LSB Community Prospect Project, the qualifications for the status of “Prospect” was 130 AB’s or 50 ip (a.k.a. “The BA Prospect Formula”). After going 2-for-4 on Monday night against Oakland, German Duran now sits at 133 at-bats for the year.
I'm tired of the suspense. Why won't they just tell us what they mean by "male enhancement?"

Duran
I’m really glad he got a chance to play in the Big’s this year. he’s doing everything in his powers to unseat Vazquez and the inevitable Roberts/Relaford/Easley type as our Utility Infielder. hopefully he has a productive winter and comes back as a solid hitter improving on his 3B, LF and SS defense.
What's the rumpus?
