Brian Cashman reportedly has agreed to a three year contract to stay on with the New York Yankees as g.m.

His contract was up, there was talk Seattle might go after him, and his status has been news for a while.

I think it’s certainly possible to do much more with that kind of payroll. Epstein is doing better with Boston’s money and several GMs are doing well with much smaller payrolls.
