I used to live in PA and have been to NY and such around there
Ive had some pretty good pizza.
Pizza hut isnt great, but its not too bad imo. I like their new “the natural” more expensive pizza. That + some wings and maybe something else in one order… it works.
and hey, when discussing pizza ive always got to throw out… people should try digiorno’s “ultimate” pizza line. best frozen pizza ever.

I just can't get into...
the NFL right now. A lot of that has to do with the Raiders suckage the last 4 or 5 years but my interest in the NFL leaves a lot to be desired right now.
I bet I watch maybe a hour of football today.

The Rams just suck...
McNabb made a horrible throw on that big play to DeSean Jackson, but the corner never found the ball… And Jason Avant was wide open on the other one…
The Eagles look solid, but the Rams defense is pathetic.

Bulger looks so damned uncomfortable...
He hasn’t set his feet in the pocket to make a throw one time yet… He’s bouncing all over the place, even when there’s not much rush and he’s got time to scan the field.

I had Bulger in a FF league a few years ago
Bulger isn’t too bad, his O-line looks horrible. Wound up in 2nd place in that league. I didn’t really do much though. I missed the draft. I would check in every week and would be surprised at how well my team was doing. Every now and then I would make a strategic move. The only game I lost was the last one… I know how the Patriots felt. :(

And yet another example...
Terrible defense in the secondary… There’s nobody within 10 yards of Baskett when that ball is thrown, and then the DB goes for an arm tackle while the ball is in the air…

I remember thinking how bad
Miami and Washington both looked on opening day last season. Miami turned out to be just awful (though injuries didn’t help), and Washington wasn’t too bad. St Louis is that team this year, along with Detroit. Houston looks terrible, but I get the feeling that that’s more of a function of the Steelers having a great day.

You really think they’ve loaded him up with receivers? Justin Gage is his #1. He still has no one to throw to.
Of course Donovan McNabb was throwing to a rookie and guys named Baskett and Avant today…

Two of your usual pet peeves. I only hope that you don’t have reason to bring up #38 today.
I know it’s football season when I hear about Vince’s performance, followed by Longhorn pointing out that he’s just a winner who churns out 10-7 scores.

Houston sucked it up today
While I hope this is predictive of the future, unfortunatly I suspect that fucking Kyle Shanahan will lead the Texans to good things.
I wish they had just left mediocre Kubiak alone, darn it.
Who’s the DC over there anyway? Maybe he sucks. Hopefully.

Yikes
Culpepper anyone? I know Daunte had the ACL/PCL/MCL damaged, but Brady may never be the same again. On a lighter note, the streak of past Super Bowl losers not making the playoffs the next year looks very much alive.

Brady...
is more of a pocket passer though. Culpepper was more of a mobile quarterback.
Still, that’s a huge loss and I’m sure it will effect his game somewhat when he comes back next year.

Really weird
My friend is a Pats fan, and I have been telling him all last season, and before game 1 this season, that Brady was going down with a catastrophic knee injury.
My theory last year was, if you recall the Pats were running the score up on a lot of people. I figured somebody, some team, was going to go for his knee in retaliation for that.
Didnt happen last year, and the Pats didnt play KC last year, but it’s odd, I’ve been half joking about Brady and a season ending knee injury over the last year, and all the sudden it happens. Not saying it happened because of why I said, it’s just strange that I kept joking about it and it happens.
