On MNF yes...

but I enjoy him on PTI. Probably the only show left on ESPN I watch on occasion.

PTI

is still good, but it still doesn’t compare to the greatness of Cold Pizza. What a show that was.

I hate PTI because I can't stand to hear Wilbon anymore.

I’m one wrong statement, one old-school cliche truism or one tough-guy guarantee from snapping.

I like when LeBetard is on, though.

I really liked his radio show

when it was on 5+ years ago – of course then he went and aggravated everyone he works for at ESPN Radio. Then Cowherd took his time slot and I can’t listen to sports radio in the morning anymore.

PTI comes on too early for me to watch it (something like 4 in the afternoon here), and I can’t say I care for him too much during MNF. Dennis Miller was the best random MNF contributor.

Count me in as a Dennis Miller fan on MNF

but I can see why he didn’t go over so well with the LCD in this country.

DMiller is on 660am locally

in Dallas at 8pm every night.

Now that it’s election season, the Rangers are out of it and the weather is starting to cool, I walk my dog during the first 45 minutes of his show interspersed with ESPN (and I also check in with the Rangers.

Who is his?

Kornhole, Miller, or Cowherd?

I think Kornhole’s and Cowherd’s are unlistenable. Have never heard Miller’s.

Kornheiser

I dislike him on MNF, but think his radio show (especially the local one up here) is pretty good.

I think we talked about this before. You didn’t agree.

Cowherd I hate even more than Rufus Wainright…

no

anti-Cal, Rodgers and Jeff Tedford for their bitching and whining about the “Texas making it to the Rose Bowl” thing. And I’m an Aggie. And I LOVED it when Tech shut them up with something like a 40 to 13 ass whupping.

I don't know how people

were picking the Vikings to go to the Super Bowl, with Tarvaris Jackson as their QB. He freaking sucks. All they have is Peterson and the defense (and that wasn’t even that great tonight)

If they keep Jackson as the starter

They need to figure out a way to use AD more and get him into space.

why i hate the guy

When they did the Trinity lateral play on PTI, and the guy said he wasn’t impressed. Of all things to dismiss this play he decides to go with not impressed. Not relevant, unimportant, no one cares becasue this is division 3 would all have been acceptable dismissals. But to say that your not impressed with a football play that lasted 60 seconds and spanned 15 laterals is just stupid.

My goodness...

do my Raiders suck ass. That was just pathetic. I wish Al Davis would just die already.

And listening to the “3 Mike’s” made me want to jam a icepick into my ears repeatedly. What a joke of a anouncing team that was.

That was my thought. So very bland commentary, not to mention they were constantly tripping over each other.

I'm also a Raiders fan...

…that wasn’t very good but I forgot how much the NFL loves to cornhole that team.

It is usually the coldest day in hell when you will hear me whine about officiating but the NFL has a hard-on for the Raiders.

In the first five minutes there was a bad mark when the Raiders had the ball but they ended up getting the first down anyways on a QB sneak. Then there was blatant holding of the tight end in the flat that wasn’t called and then DRussell fumbled but did the same freaking thing Tom Brady did (tuck rule) back in 2001. This was followed up by an insane mark of the ball giving the Broncos a first down that was eventually overturned….I just don’t believe in that many coincidences.

Once it got to 17-0 I quit watching so I’m not sure what happened the rest of the game. I’m not blaming the loss on the officials but they certainly made sure the Broncos had a good start.

A first but

I agree. The officiating was terrible. The only thing the three Ms did that was OK was noting those blown calls.

Nothing pithy here. Please move long.

My son (who is not a Raiders fan)

looked at me and said, “It’s like this game is being fixed.”

The Broncos would have won the game with good officiating but still.

My girlfriend

Who I suppose is a Pats fan but hates the Broncos thought the calls were BS. That said, I agree with you. The Raiders looked like absolute crap and I don’t see it really improving too much this year.

Nothing pithy here. Please move long.

Korn-holio is an idiot.....

and provides nothing to the broadcast.

I do like PTI…..usually no matter which two guys are on it. Scatter-shooting quick-hit sports talk is my favorite kind.

The “3 Mike’s” were horrible. They sounded way out of their element and we’re trying too hard to not sound like that.

GO COWBOYS!!!!!

i like baseball too

by bspate on Sep 9, 2008 10:47 AM CDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

korn-holio...ha!

good one.

Tony K focuses one stuff that should be on the E channel or Us magazine…always talking about gossip. He is really annoying and I would love if they replaced him with Dick Vermiel.

Totally agree with you about the Mikes…I like their radio show, but they were really really bad last night.
