Sheets meets with Rangers on Thursday!!
This at least makes me feel good and feel like we are trying bring him here. I know we have done this in the past with other big FA pitchers but i have a good feeling about this one. This is gonna have me looking all of the net all day today and not working!!
So, what are some thoughts on actual contract options that the Rangers can and will offer Sheets. And what do you think it will take to bring him in? This could be the start of a beautiful day!!!

Good news.
At 9 million per year for two years, I hope this gets done. A team option for year three would be nice as well. I’m thinking if he gets signed it will be for something like 3/$30, though. Also a reasonable deal for a true ace (when he’s healthy).

Agreed...
I will admit I was off on my stance that he’d get significantly more earlier in the offseason. Although, no one predicted this.

Sounds like a normal day.
Check the stats, absolutely, but look at the face.

Where the fuck do you guys work?
I mean, not in the typical “mom’s basement” blogging meme sense, but rather where do these jobs exist at exactly? Are we talking government jobs, or … ?
Give me Sheets or give me Offseason Blues Part III.

Great news
I just needed another confirmation that there was still real mutual interest.
Mets need to sign perez today to domino effect sheets into signing here.
the preceding post was a great success.
