OT: Id like to examine HER articles
The time has come my friends for a new era in half-assed, amateur internet journalism. Though I have always respected the sincerity and raw wit of Nadia Lee, I have applied on examiner.com to usurp her. Actually I don't know how it works but I'm assuming they only allow one 'examiner' per beat so if they accept me I'm thinking she will have to go. It pains me to imagine a world deprived of her insights, but this is a matter of survival and I don't think we need Darwin to clue us in on just what sort of person tends to survive. So good luck Nadia! May the best writer win.
I'm not so sure the world needs a Texas Rangers Examiner. But since there's going to be one anyway, I might as well put forth an effort first to become him and then to make him relevant. Perhaps the days where the Google News Feed whatever thingie forces Adam to stumble upon a hastily thrown together, misguided commentary that makes his red and blue blood boil will soon be over.

Cool, good luck to ya
I might’ve applied for this myself if I hadn’t seen me and my personal blog melt like an ice cream cone at the RBiA in June last year. Blogging can be a tiring thing, take it from me… fortunately, however, the standards of examiner.com don’t seem to be very high. If there are any, that is.

Yeah... easier said than done
Somebody recently told me my problem is I’m probably a little afraid to try and start things up again after failing so hard last year. They’re probably right.

You probably failed because you spent too much time dicking around here.

Heh
Maybe. Really though, it was more about the late hours and the effort it takes for me to write and edit something. Sometimes I’d spend two hours alone trying to come up with what I felt was a decent opening paragraph. I kind of overloaded myself with this idea that I had to write an editorial on every game, every day… mainly because I wasn’t sure what else to focus on. As you already know, I’m sure, my thoughts on baseball really aren’t all that deep… which is kind of why I haven’t written anything this offseason. Nothing for me to really focus on without the games.

It was probably because you were always trying to beat Adam with the GDT’s, GDT 2’s, and Post GDT.
“OK, 2 comments already. Time for a new GDT.”

Good luck.
If I’d realized this was an option, I would have beat you to it.

It was more of a nice clean simple "Disappointed in the current state of the human race", "Wow".
