John Patterson retires
Well, we never actually saw him in Arlington. But the slight possibility of him joining the Rangers was fun while it lasted.

He made over $8 million...

I always cringe a little
When a skilled athlete has to hang it up and retire. But kudos for recognizing “that’s it” and moving on to what’s next. Better than struggling against odds so long you never see the finish line.

I miss 1989. I miss 1996. Please make me miss another season in 2008.
