I hate watching any game with San Antonio in it.
The whining, ref-baiting, flopping circus they throw down just beats. me. down.
Hope the Mavs beat the Purdy Nasty outta them.
This game shouldn't even be close

Dude
I’m at a Starbucks right now. And I’m pretty sure this is Marlon Byrd sitting in the corner with a lady friend
I can't see him from the front. But when they went to sit, he glanced my way quickly, then glanced away quickly
Looked like him.
The head matches. The shoulders match. I think

If this was any other guy, he'd be facing TOWARDS the rest of the shop

Now we're all left wondering ... what might have happened had it been The Byrdman himself

Byrdman is suiting up for a night on the town in Philly
He’s not fucking around in a Starbucks

The Spurs
announcers are annoying as hell.

Ya know...
I think the Jazz are the 4th or 5th best team in the West, but they sure look like shit so far this season.

Mavs can't hit a shot to save their lives tonight.
Gracchus (about Obama): I think he knows what America is. America is the mob. Conjure money for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of America is not the paper of the Constitution, it's the power of the media. He'll bring them debt - and they will love him for it.
Ginobili's bald spot is getting really out of control.
Someone get that man some Propecia.

38 points in the first half is no bueno.

It was so obviously a trap game.
San Antonio short-handed but at home, Mavs on the back end of a double-header.
Still, dodgy loss.
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
And I'm not saying
That the Mavs are necessarily a championship-caliber team, but this happens to every team.

It sucks that Charlotte has used 2 top 10 picks on point guards in the last 4 years
And still get shitty shitty point guard play
I don't think
Anybody should have looked at either of them and thought they were NBA point guards.

This is a game, this is must watch
This is the 2 best players in the league trying to top one another.
And holy shit, if you didnt see Wade's dunk on Varejao
This was after Anderson and Wade were called for double-technicals..
BG with another blockbuster today.
Might have to cash in with one of my PGs soon.
I think Luke French has a lot of potential. TORP potential.-Dstar
Worried a bit.
And about LA.
It’s a pretty steep price to pay, though. We’ll see.

He's been good.
I’ve also been impressed with Hayes, though I don’t think he’s a fantasy stud.

Oh dear forgot there was a nfl game today
Cutler with 0tds and 4ints. Awesome.

I like that.
Going back to #6.

Fantasy basketball question: should I just sell-low on Brand now?
That Princeton offense looks terrible for him and I’m thinking if I can somehow spin a little out of his preseason Yahoo O-Rank, I might still sneak something good, if I package, say, Marion as well.
I’m crazy enough to consider trading for Dwight, I’ve got plenty of FT% help but I’ve just dropped 20 points in the last week because FG%, PTS, REBS and BLKS are all terrible (under 3 in a 12-team league).
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
If it were me
I’d consider cheaper routes to get the same thing. For instance, if you want a big name, I’d be willing to bet that Josh Smith would provide you with a massive upgrade in those categories while coming at a cheaper price than Howard.
If you’re on the look out for steals, try to see if you can get Hibbert—he’s a monster this year. Even Blatche has been pretty salty so far, too.
But the simple answer is yes, dump Brand—he’s doomed as long as he’s in Philly.
by brettgardner on Nov 13, 2009 6:04 PM CST up reply actions
Won't Blatche's role be reduced once Jamison is back?

Haha.
Barea gets a hard foul from Cardinal, hits the floor, and as he’s being picked up by Gooden, the camera catch Gooden saying “Don’t worry, I’ll fuck him up next time for you.”
Made me giggle.
Yeah Gooden is um .. transparent ..

I came away with two thoughts from watching the GSW/NYK game
1.Nate Robinson is my least favorite player in the NBA
2. Mona Ellis should not have tattoos.

Fucking hell.
I wonder if that ankle’s ever going to fully recover.
When he can’t get to the rim, he’s just piss-annoying.
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
His contract is so valuable
That if he could just stay on the court a little bit, we’d be able to get something nice.

CP3
should be out for a bit with that severely sprained ankle.

Interesting sporcle game

Top 5 scorers for each team in the past decade. Got the Mavs’ five pretty easily, some of the others were just impossible. Got maybe 120 in all?

Nah, the Bucks are gonna lose in regulation

I'm really dumbfounded
He didn’t do shiznet in Europe
I think Luke French has a lot of potential. TORP potential.-Dstar
Trying to project European stats to the NBA
really doesn’t work, I guess. Everything is about spreading the floor and ball movement, not really one-on-one or even two-man game type play.
Remember to retire Fin's number, Mark.
Haha, Jackson to the Bobcats
The Golden State Warriors have agreed in principle to send Stephen Jackson to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic, NBA sources said Monday morning.
The deal also would send Warriors guard Acie Law to the Bobcats.
I think Luke French has a lot of potential. TORP potential.-Dstar
He can't be too thrilled about that
But that’s a paltry demand for a guy with the abilities of Jackson.

Yah.
Beaubois is gonna be good.

I'm extremely impressed by his touch around the rim being so raw
Something that Devin Harris really lacked early on
Now
Carlisle needs to give him more playing time. I like JJ but more Beaubois and less JJ.
