And Teagarden
gets a walk and a hit off Strasburg. I don’t have high hopes for Harrison but struggling right now after a long layoff and injury recovery doesn’t really tell us anything.

Yep
I wouldn’t expect too much out of him for a while. We’ll probably have to wait until ST to get a good read on how he’s doing.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

Who decides what role
a pitcher will have in the AFL? Why is Harrison starting and Scheppers relieving?

I would imagine its mostly set piece things
Harrison starts, hopefully gets a set number of IP. Then the next and the next until you go through it. Much like ST starts I’d bet.
What do voluntary mean?

Harrison
At least the velo was good. On Gameday it looked like he was getting squeezed a bit too.

post Thoracic Outlet Syndrome velocity
Didn’t Kenny Rogers gain some velocity after his procedure? Seems I remember him having a noticable bump afterwards, a couple mph or more.

He might make a useful bench bat.

Has this been linked somewhere?
“His stuff is above average compared to some of the kids here,” said O’Malley, a former big leaguer who joined the Rangers’ development staff last season. “I don’t think he’s going to be in the Minor Leagues that long if he stays healthy.”
