I can't remember
the last time there was this much talent on both teams…kinslerhomer, I know you’re excited too.

West OF/1B
Dustin Ackley, Jordan Danks, Chris Heisey, Daryl Jones, Casper Wells, Yonder Alonso, Ike Davis
While you might be able to make a case for Moreland’s comparability to Wells or Jones or Heisey, that’s a pretty nice group of prospects across the board.

I think its awesome
to see Mark Rogers back on the prospect landscape after everything. Even though he was on extremely limited pitch counts, it sounds like his power arsenal is all the way back.

David (Texas) Does Tanner Scheppers slot somewhere in the top 100 prospects?
Jim Callis (2:37 PM) He very well might. There’s no question about his stuff, just his health. He has looked very good in the AFL, but his shoulder is still worrisome.
Note that this is a different answer from what he gave prior to the AFL, when it was a pretty resounding no.

What does Scheppers have to do
to prove he is healthy?

Yeah that's the problem
The only way he can prove people wrong is to be healthy and productive in the majors for about five years. Even then people would probably say “see?” if he got hurt.

Scheppers has as good
of a fastball/curve combo as Jarrod Parker’s fastball/slide. Even though Parker just had TJ and Scheppers is healthy, you would be hard pressed to find someone take Tanner over him. It snot like Parker’s results in the minors have been THAT good…
